Relapse Prevention and Harm Reduction: Learn how to identify and manage substance use triggers, also gain tools to reduce the risks of harms from substance abuse, and learn strategies to reduce use. Free Condoms: Free condoms are available everyday to anyone in the community who wants them. WCAC also provides female condoms and lubricant. Safe Needle Disposal Program: Community members can drop off used needles at our center for safe disposal. WCAC can also connect you to programs in the community that provide clean needles. HIV/STI education: The workshop reinforces and increases factual knowledge concerning STDs and HIV. Additionally, provides skills training in decision-making, self-assertiveness, and condom negotiation. HIV Counseling and Testing: HIV testing and counseling are available on-site, Tuesdays and Thursdays. WCAC also collaborates with Whittier Street and other health centers for continued services.
